By default, your Linklay shoppable image is provided as an HTML snippet of code. This code can be copied/pasted into any editing environment that allows HTML input. However, you may like to use one of our plugins/extensions instead.
The reason you would do this is to prevent the odd occasion your website system automatically edits your iframe code in an attempt to “clean up” the code. If you use a short code instead of an iframe to display your image, the iframe is essentially protected from being automatically edited.
Once the plugin is installed and activated, you will be able to use the short codes directly in the native content editor of your CMS.
Using short codes means authors can also modify the presentation properties of the shoppable image, using the align and class parameters.
